At Purposed Housing Australia, we believe Choice and Control within your home is fundamental. Purposed Housing Australia do not partner up with SIL providers for this very reason. This means if you choose to move into one of our purposed built homes you have the choice on your support team to assist you with your daily living.
About Us
Based on our extensive experience (45 years +) supporting people with disabilities and their families, we believe that an appropriate design and living environment can have a substantial influence on an individual’s life. Our SDA properties are designed for people with complex or high needs and tailored to provide tenants with the level of support they require to live as independently as possible with maximum control and choice.
Purposed Housing Australia sets the benchmark in high quality, affordable NDIS Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) for eligible participants.
Our new properties are purpose built and modern with maximum privacy in mind. All of our homes are architecturally designed and aim to achieve the highest 7-star energy efficiency.

Purposed Housing Australia is a developer and owner of the SDA Housing. Purposed Housing Australia has partnered with Illowra as our SDA provider for all our current and developing SDA housing.
As a resident in an Illowra managed home, you have choice and control over who provides your support. Illowra collaborate with the support provider of your choosing to ensure you have a home you love with the supports you want.
BUILDING SDA HOMES
At Purposed Housing, we have had the pleasure of working with Co Construct for the construction of multiple SDA builds over the past 6 years. With all our standout projects we worked on together include Robust SDA builds in Warragul and multiple in Cranbourne and a High Physical Support build in Frankston, where Co Construct showcased their expertise in project management, attention to accessibility, understanding of SDA requirements and quality craftmanship. A testament to their skill, resulting in being the 2022 award winner for the HIA Eastern Victoria Regional Housing Awards & a finalist for the 2022 HIA-CSR Victorian Housing Awards.
From the initial planning stages to the final touches, the team at Co Construct demonstrate a profound understanding of construction principles, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering dedication to meeting deadlines and sticking to within the build budget. Their ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with architects, subcontractors, and other external parties ensures that each project progresses smoothly and efficiently.

3D Tour - Robust Group Home
Our Group Home Robust build completed in 2018 was the first of its kind built and registered in Victoria. We are proud to share a walk through tour, showing all the features that Purposed Housing include to make this house a home for residents.
Learning about residents needs and working with family's, providers, industry experts, along with our internal knowledge and passion for the disability sector we were able to source and install key features to the home that allows for clients to have maximum independence & choice in their home and day to day lives. One of the biggest & most important changes was to reduce the use of restrictive interventions which resulted from great design and understanding peoples needs.

Anna has worked in Disability and Community Services for over 45 years. She has a broad range of experience spanning most levels and facets in the sector, from direct care and support, through to senior management, business governance and directorship. Anna is a founder and director of Purposed Housing Australia. Anna is passionate about appropriate housing and meeting the needs of people and their families who have disabilities and complex needs.

Robert has over 45 years' experience working in the disability and aged care services. Robert's previous positions include - Manager, Disability Services DHS Southern Region, Co-founder of MSSA and Co-founder of ONCALL Group Australia. Robert has significant experience in managing a wide range of community support services within his career and has extensive experience working within Quality Framework.

Benjamin has worked in the Disability sector for over 15 years. With a verity of experience working from 1:1 support with residents, financial management to back end NDIS system development.
Benjamin is passionate about the NDIS and Disability sector, developing properties to suit individual needs and working with residents to get them into their forever homes.
